Yes, I would agree it would be difficult and expensive if you are using a razor blade
No offense, I credit you with a solid background in selling cars, but that doesn't translate into vinyl signwork. You should have called a sign shop and saved yourself some hassle. With a simple heat gun, Rapid Remover (an all natural adhesive remover), and good technique, the lettering comes right off, no sand or buff needed. And as stated before, you should never put anything over fresh paint, that's just a no-brainer. |

Rick: That looks good. Did you cut your own letters with your cutter?

Looks nice, but it is a shame that you did not use your logo. That would have been far more eye-catching and, in my own opinion, professional looking.

No Lloyd, I let a professional
do it with that high performance cast vinyl mentioned earlier. I plan on putting my logo on the back of one door and my info on the other door when I get a little more cash. Last gig I did on Saturday netted me a whole $2.00. I got a fundraiser and paid bar/bat mitzvah this Saturday, so I know I got at least one job I'll make money for sure. I guess it would be alright to put my logo on one of the side windows in front of the lettering right.

Rick, I think when you get more cash you should simply put your logo on both sides of the van on the front doors. It will give your van a little more "company vehicle" appeal, and it will not matter that you don't have the logo on the windows.
Basically, they will see the large "AirBrush Tattoos" on the window, and will also see your name and logo on the door. Everything will tie together. Great start. |

Great job on the van!
When w get back from Florida next week, we are putting our van in the shop to be repainted. Then we will be adding our signage to the windows. We love our 1988 Dodge van! It sure beats trying to pack the truck. Now we leave the van packed all the time & only unload what we have to.
