A Night mare, I booked a show in Fl doing a festival. I was told and I asked to have the exclusive on the show. I was granted my right. Got to the show and started making money, the spot they gave me was terrible. I made money by being outside my tent asking who would like a tattoo.
Next thing I saw where 2 adult women wearing tattoos. I was shock and asked them hey where did you get the tats from. They replied from atattoo4u. I said impossible, that is my name, they said no not you the other tat artist. They showed me where she was.
Now I mine you, the other tat artist had no clue on who I was, I entered the tent and started looking at the tats on the board, I asked her may I ask who’s system you are using. She replied none of your dam business.
The helper asked if he could help me and I said with a reply like that I think not, she then asked me to please leave her tent, I had no business being there.
I was so pissed that I even forgot to check out the name of her business. Clients stopped coming in to my tent and I soon found out that they thought I was her partner with the bad attitude. This killed my business.
I asked to speak to the promoter and reported that she is using my name, giving me a bad name and ruining my business here. The following day came and she never even opened up the tent. According to the promoter she is giving me a refund for all my hassle. My name a tattoo 4 u is a registered name here in Fl.
I worked very hard here making a name for myself, If you are on this forum and reading this, do yourself a favor and change your name. I own atattoo4u

I am so sorry to hear that happend to you. She was busted as to why she didn't open up the next day. That is a horrible thing to do to...she should be ashamed. That went far beyond just doing a show with another tatist there. It sounds like she knew about you! Made up a story to tell the public to make them believe you'all were partners or something, was extremely rude to you and so shady she didn't have the guts to open up the next day. Hopefully she won't be doing this for long....I think by trying to talk with her, she was intimidated..I will do that if I encounter a similar situation...also, a pic of this person would be a good idea to try and get.

It is a good thing you will get your money back from the promoter though!

That is weird. Has anyone explained why you had the exclusive and yet she was set up as well, with the same name no less?? Or did she actually lie to the promoters and say she was another set up for your shop?

That's a weird and aggravating one for sure. Sorry to hear about that.
