3 events

My first bookings

Well ya'll I just booked 2 events that will have 30,000 + people at each and I will be the only tattist there. Both are big rodeos.

I also just got word that I can have one of the last spots open at our Tri State fair where also I will be the only tattist. But there will be a face painter there that just uses brushes.

My question is about how much my booth will cost, I have to pay 500 +75 for elec, but 100 is refunded after the fair is over if my area is clean.

Is this a little high?

oh its a 9 day fair 10 a.m. to 11 p.m.

I don't think that is extreamly high

For that many days, and power. My mom just paid more money for less days, and I have run into about the same for some of the bigger ones I have looked at. I tend to stay with the lower priced venues, but that is soon to change.

Hey JPL 1978

congrat on the events, now one rule you need to follow, smile and be nice to every one. the price you are bing ask to pay is not high at all. Now learn to try and supply your own power to these event so you dont get caught losing that 75 a show. We use a small Gen and it works great at these shows.
But good going and keep it up

Thanks yall,

Now I got to get some more stencils together, the first 2 events are both kind of put on/supported by church and childrens home/ranch so they have asked that I watch what designs I bring. no playboy bunnies or skulls and stuff like that.

Wish I had the cash to just jump in and get the MVP so I could get the killer discounts on the tatstore stencils. I have about 30 kids stencils but now I need to get some more leaning towards the rodeo and adults.

I think it's a great deal - sounds like a lot up front, but you have to figure your daily breakdown and then it's not bad at all. Good Luck!!
