adhesive to hold stencil on corners
This one might be for Airbrush Gypsy (saw something pink on one of your pics of tat application), but I will put it out to the group. Do you use anything to adhere just one or two corners of the stencil with, lets say medical tape or painters tape (low tac)? Would you do it?

Gonna go ahead and jump in on this one (sorry if I trip/step on toes in the process)
Its best to learn how to hold the stencil on with one hand. Efficiency and profits go down if you do anything other than that.

It really isn't hard to do it with one hand. I've read a bunh of threads on this forum that show in detail the different things that people do. I personall like holding down the stencil by making a V with my index and middle finger. There are many different preferences though, do a search of he forum for "holding stencils" or something along that line. Aloha |

I learned
to use my index and thumb to hold the stencil in place. On larger stencils you can always use your other thumb to help hold the stencil so you can walk your index and thumb around the stencil. Does this make sense? It works for me especially doing armbands and such.

You have gotten some great advice and I agree, I would not use an adhesive. We have adhesive stencils and don't use the adhesive. It is very easy to learn to walk your fingers over the stencil.
The pink you saw on the corner of the stencil is part of our number system for our stencils. We buy stencils from several companies and they all number the stencils starting with number 1. We can't have 5 number one stencils! So we color code them then add their number. Pink is a TAT Store stencil. Black is an ABA stencil. Get the idea?

For all the great info folks! Thanks Gypsy for letting me know what the pink was
General consensus, No Adhesive! So that means more practice! Thanks again!
