Thinning out vibe face paint - water based paint?
Hi,
Can you water down the vibe water based face paint with water to thin it out - maybe this is a silly question...lol but wasn't sure. I accidentally didn't cover the hole on the bottle after I had finished using it and I notice it's thicker and not flowing out of the gun well. I'm also finding that the vibe water based paint dries really quickly in the gun when you are not using it and it tends to get difficult to spray - any thoughts on what others have done with regards to this? This is based on a multigun set up. Thanks everyone. Dolores |

The Vibe seems thin enough already, so I can't imagine thinning it out more. I've never had to do it, so I really don't have an answer for u. I'll b interested what others have experienced.

I thinned mine out with bottled water I had on hand, it worked. Prob not what u r supposed to use. Ichanged to graftobian. Huge difference. Doesn't clog nearly as quick!

Does graftobian need to be shaken more than vibe does.

Vibe does not require much shaking, maybe because its water based.

Yes the Graftobian does require shaken pretty often. The contents separate fairly quickly so I give it a little shake before every application. If not you will spray mostly alcohol without the paint pigment. Never had clogging issues with the Graftobian, sprays great. As AJ said, the Vibe does not require shaken hardly at all. Only time I shake the Vibe is when I'm refilling a bottle or at the beginning of the day although I have had clogging issues at times with the Vibe so they have their pros and cons.

Thanks all..
I think it thickened because I did not plug the tiny hole in the top of the cap/tube when i was storing it... I think i can put a couple of drops in and see how it goes.
