of posts in the forum that address the different avenues of marketing. Some are mainstream, some are far-reaching and others are "thinking outside the box" stuff. I have learned from doing advertising in all medias that there is no one specific form that is going to take your business over the top. It is a cumulation of medias because not everyone red the papers or looks online. If you wanted to market to my mom, the internet is NOT the place to do it. Try them all if you need to.
I have written before about the affects of GIGO. It is a computer term meaning "garbage in garbage out." People think that computers are smart and intuitive but they aren't. They can only do for you what someone has programed it to do. Same goes for your business. GIGO. You will get out of it what you put into it. Take the time to do some research and not just look for quick fixes or ready-made answers. If I don't do the work myself, how can I ever call myself a businessman? If I don't do the work myself and LEARN how to research and make decisions I will always be looking to others for the answers and that is not a good business plan.
