The web site is pretty much set just a few things I need to "tweek" but I think it's going to do the job. I'd really like feedback from any of you on what you think. Any constructive critizism will be greatly appreciated. Tell Rat-A-Tat-Tattoos what you think.
Visit my at www.rat-a-tat-tattoos.com
Hope to hear from you all!

I see you worked very hard on your site and you should be proud!

You have very interesting designs... may I ask where you get them from? I'd love to get a couple!

You refer to T.A.T.s often but never state what it stands for. You may want to add it.

Here are some issues I found that you may want to fix...
---"We'll you've come to the right place!" should be .... Well not We'll...
---"Visit our web page for more insight into airbrush T.A.T's!" is on the homepage.... aren't I already visiting your web page?
---Every one of the T.A.T's needs a period after the second T it should be T.A.T.'s
---TAT info page .... 1. Application: We insure that the skin is thoroughly cleaned with rubbing alcohol prior to
airbrushing the T.A.T onto the skin. T.A.T's will ultimately come off because persons typically shed an outer film of skin every seven days. .... should be people not persons.
---Again on TAT info page ... 2. T.A.T care: We provide you with information on How to care for your T.A.T at time when the
tattoo is applied. ...... should be how not How.

Thanks for the help! I can clearly see now that I overlooked some things! Even after proof reading it too many times! Now as being the first person outside of my family thats viewed my page...what is your honest opinion? Was it informative, appealing, or did was it too much? I tried not to go over board but so many ideas would pop up while making the web site it was kind of hard not to go crazy. I tried to keep it pretty simple. Now as far as my stencil set I bought this set from an ebay member by the name of teen_the_bean out of Ontario, Canada. You could buy the whole set or buy by the page. If I remember correctly the set cost about $100 give or take. They also make custom stencil orders also. This set is a self adhesive set which I love. I've used them a few times and tack is still like new, does not leave any type of sticky junk on skin at all. I just reviewed the ebay seller and as of right now it seems they do not have anything for sale at ebay. I'll give them a call and keep you posted. Thanks again for the feedback!

Nice Job! I know it's always nice to have someone else look at things....after working on it for so long, you can miss things. Lord knows i have! Nice stencils too. And I LOVE Da Bears canopy! (I grew up in chicago, so maybe I'm partial) I thought the pictures where bright, clear and easy to see the designs. thats important since that is the product we sell! Again, good job!

I like the light background with the colored font. It makes it very easy to read. It is informative, appealing, and simple. As I said before you have worked very hard and should be proud!

Thanks for the info on the stencils! I can't wait to check them out!

Nice job on the site. It is well put together and says what it needs to. I do agree about the T.A.T. needs explained. Also like the 10% off with web booking. Good idea... You know that I had lots of things going on with the web site too and it truely is a ongoing thing. We finally made top space on yahoo and google, but it drove me crazy. Where did you get the yahoo logo from? Nice job: Lloyd

putting it together. The following are just suggestions. I am not an expert on websites, but I have built and facilitated many of them in the past 3 years. I learned very early that building a website is much like writing a letter or article. To be effective, you have to know who you are writing it for. Knowing your target market is the most important part of writing an article or building a website. Build your website for your customers, not for yourself. I am not saying that is what you did, I'm just sharing my experience and what I read about building websites. People are SUPER BUSY these days and just want the facts. Who are you, what do you provide and how do I get in contact with you? Your website is the doorway into your business and it has to be inviting, information, friendly and user-friendly.

Here are a couple of things I picked up on:

Sporting Events, Car Shows and much more! No , after Shows.

Change "As a current small business owner, I know the meaning of providing great customer service." They know you are a small business owner because they are looking at your website and being a business owner does not mean you know the meaning of customer service. If you are going to say that, explain yourself to them. Tell them WHAT great customer service means to you.

Our price of service is unmatched by any of El Paso's or Las Cruces's established face painting companies. Never refer to another business in any of your marketing because you are plugging the other guy. Now they know to call a face painter and check their rates. If their rates are lower than yours you have made a big mistake. If you do refer to another business do not do it in a negative fashion. NEVER undermine your competitor. Just focus on providing as much positive information about YOUR business as you can and do it without sounding vain.

So if your looking for that extra special touch at your next special event (put a comma here) give Rat-A-Tat-Tattoos a try (call) and...

A: Up to Fourteen days depending on how they are applied and cared for, what part of the body they are applied to, (take out this comma) and how rapidly the customer (exfoliates) sheds skin

Q: Is it waterproof?
A: Yes the ink dries instantly and is water proof in 30 minutes.
(to some extent...please read "Care of T.A.T instructions to clarify) I don't understand. You said "yes" to the question and then wrote "to some extent." Which is it? As a consumer, that would raise a Red Flag with me and I probably wouldn't call you for clarity.

...off because persons typically shed a layer of skin every seven days.

feel free to ask as we might have what your looking for!

Now that you have a website you have to do all the things to get you better positioning in the search engines. It took me a long time to get where I am on Google. I used to search for airbrush tattoos california or airbrush tattoos san francisco to find my site. Now I just type airbrush tattoos and I am on the first page of Google. That is an organic search and I have great position. It is hard and repetitious work but it pays off. It doesn't help to have a site that people can't find. And trust me, they are not going past the first page of a search. If you are not on the first page you have to keep plugging away to get there. And once there you have to keep plugging away to stay there.

A little more tweeking and it will be all come together. Thank you though again for all the small things that I left out and that I need to clarify. Getting out of a full day of work to go home and sit in front of a computer screen kind of makes things difficult. But I'll get things up! Lloyd I need some help with updating or changing things on my web site using the Yahoo site builder. How do I go back and make changes? I tried last night but I was tired and I guess I over looked on how to make changes. Hope you can help! As far as the Yahoo logo, there is an option on site builer I think it's on the "insert" option and you can insert counters, yahoo tags, papal buttons, background music, etc. but it is on site builder. hope this helps. Oh one more thing did anyone while browsing my web site, did anyone hear music or a song playing? I was fooling around while making my site and I imported a song, last minute I decided to take it off but when I was publishing the site I noticed it was publishing the song also.

i didn't hear any music, and i just went to your site again, to make sure. So it must not have been published when your site went live.

Well It looks like I might have worked out some of the mistakes. Let me know what you all think and if there is something I might have missed. I forgot to clarify about "being a small business owner" I need to clarify that I currently own a photography business that works directly for schools in along with the tattoo biz. Anything else you might find let me know! Thanks a bunch. Gonna get some sleep my peepers hurt! Hope to hear from you all!

Very nice! I own a 1951 Dodge Coronet, (my daily driver, I even take the kiddo to school in her!) at this point it still has everything original from the dealer. It's getting some serious work this winter. new interior, new paint, and I have to send the crome out too. The great debate now is, It's a gyro-matic transmission, and has a some sporatic problems shifting into high. Considering the rare Transmission, i'm trying to decide weather to try and track down another transmission of the same, (yeah right!) or put in a new engine, new trans and rewire the whole thing from 6 to 12 volts system. (power steering and power brakes sure would be nice!:p)

Anyways, keep an eye out for that tranny for me!

and the website is coming along nicely!:D

Thanks Joe for the support! Brew City Gal I'll keep an eye out for your tranny! Have you tried Ebay? I've found lots of parts I need for my Biscayne there. But I'll look out for your Coronet. Keep her original!
Have a good weekend!
