I have used Social networking sites for personal stuff for a couple of years now. There was(still is?) a campaign by the TAT Store to increase exposure by asking us to join various sites. I think several of us were asking about invites we had received, and if they were legit.
I have now added a MySpace account, a Facebook page, and just today a Twitter account. All of them are linked, and I have my website url attached to all of them.
In case you didn't know, you can open accounts with these sites under your business's name, and a few of them have apps that you can add to your business web site.
Also, there is a calendar program that I found at http://www.keepandshare.com that I have on my website that allows you to update your upcoming events without having to do it from your web site.
