agree Franco..Pictures say a thousand words. I like the way you have it set up on your site...Is this a free service? how do you get set up?

goto http://www.flickr.com/ to sign up. Or you can get software for free to add pics to your site. I like this one http://jalbum.net/ makes setting up albums easy. I have used this for several clients.

what I used to make the old style color? If so, I'm not sure I understand your question.

Sorry for the delay but I have been gone a couple of days.

Flickr is free. Just download the software to your computer. I have been using flickr for about a year now and wish I had known about it when I first started. I didn't always take pics at my parties, but once I learned the value of it I make sure my people get pics at every party.

Another tool I use is blurb for creating photo books of parties. I have only done Yahoo and a couple wineries, but they love them and they are a great marketing tool. If you are interested in seeing a book, send me your email address and I will send you a sample link to one of the books.

If ya don't mind, send me a link to one of the books as well. I've been looking at doing an online brochure as well, found a site the other day that allows you to do that. Marketing, marketing, marketing!!! I love it!
Thanks again! Email it to Info@AbsoluteAirbrush.com, gotta put that in my sig!

links to three books. Keep in mind that I don't charge clients for making the books and I do not have a markup on them for profit. If they buy the book it is cost. Marketing is the focus here for me.

Also, I didn't include text (captions) in the books because sometimes what I think is cool, hip and funny doesn't sound that way to others. Adding their own text is an option for them. If they want to add text, I would give them the password to login and add what they want.

Thanks for the books Franco, very nice! You really seem to have the marketing side of this working well for ya! Now, I just gotta figure out how to take pics of the tat work I do at these events when I usually work them alone. Any suggestions? I may start a new thread on this. Keep up the great work Franco!

Well you need to have a digital camera too. But I just ask them do you want to see it? or I just take the pic. esp. if it is a back piece. But have a camera ready and say "hey let me get a picture of that it looks really great!" People pose with pride snd smiles then.

Thanks for the tips Rodney! I have the camera etc, guess I was just seeing if anyone had any creative ways for me to take a pic since I work alone and not hold up the line. I'm grasping at straws here I realize, just curous of anyone has thought of something I hadn't is all. Thanks again

set my camera next to the powder. So, I get done with the tat, blow some air on it to make sure it is dry, reach over and turn the camera on, grab the brush and powder the tat, then grab the camera and take the picture. My experience has been that most people are game for getting their pic taken and their friends typically jump in too.

what you mean. I just wish I would have been taking and posting them since I first began. They have helped me get to page one of Google for sure. I put the pics on other sites like Picasa but you can only put 500 (I think) unless you pay for an account. I believe flickr is that way also, but it's only $30 a year for a pro account. Some people only look for methods of marketing that are free, and while there are alot out there, they can be difficult to use and limiting.

By the way, if anyone asked me for a link to my books and I haven't sent it I apologize. Please just send me another email and I will, I promise.
