Contract Q's

Ok I have a contract written up for a gig that was last minute, it will be sat night. I told the lady not to worry about the Booking fee since it would cost me more time and money to drive over and pick it up.
So here is the deal, its my first private party from some one I do not know. I will have the contract written up and present it to her at the beginning of the party before I unload. I should have two copies on that she signs and I keep, and the other for her to keep. Does this make sence and id that how everyone is doing so?? I just want to cover my end in this aspect

I'd say you got it covered as well... The more nervous you get, the more questions you'll have pop up in your head. Don't worry though, you'll be fine!
